Not many though few remember the HTC Touch HD, a WinMo smartphone which was released last year and didn’t stand up to their expectations.
They are coming soon with a sequel release, named Touch HD 2. To your surprise it’s been moved from rather Windows Mobile 6.5 to Android, which is an evolving OS and the buzzword of the market though.
According to a source told to Register Hardware that the new Touch HD will be much faster than any of the HTC handsets which were released and on the market right now. The HTC new Touch HD 2 will be enhanced with a 3.8-inch touchscreen(may be capacitive, as it is Android) and will upgrade to a 628MHz Qualcomm chip.
Officially, no information is leaked out by the company yet about its availability and pricing, but we hope the release date is not so far.
